The group "Sulfides and Oxides" belongs to the "Laboratory on Catalysis in Organic Chemistry" (UMR 6503) of the University of Poitiers (Faculty of Fundamental and Applied Sciences)

The research activities of the group are related to catalytic processes which aim at the protection of the environment and at the production of intermediates involved in the synthesis of agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals :
- the purification of petroleum feedstocks and products;
- the fluorination of chlorinated aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons;
- organic synthesis with reusable catalysts.
